The beer company Ilda’s Town Beer, based in the Xarlot restaurant, makes top quality craft beer in full view of its clients. An innovative concept until now in Sant Cugat del Vallès, it seeks to bring consumers closer to the world of craft beer, which is becoming increasingly more fashionable in our country.
Ilda’s Town Beer produces 4 varieties of beer made from the best German malts. Customers can choose between the MAT (wheat beer made according to the Germanic tradition), CLOT (inspired by Anglo-American beers, for more developed palates), ROS (a homage to the famous Czech red beer) and TORR (inspired by the Belgian beers; black, sweet and full-bodied). Beverages to suit everyone, and which can be tasted in situ in the Xarlot restaurant, and in the other restaurants in the group (Matilda, Clotilda and Gilda).
In addition, the beer company uses machinery that is unique in our country: the Braüteke by Kaspar Schulz. An excellent professional micro-brewery with a production capacity of 10,000 to 100,000 litres/year, via which barrels can be filled from the tank or the beverage can be brought directly to the tap, providing a fresh and local craft beer for the customer.
